Review by hotel critic
Upon arriving at Sandman, we were warmly greeted by Harman, a standout member of the front desk team. Her efficiency and friendly demeanor set a positive tone for our stay. The room initially assigned to us had a few issues, but Harman swiftly addressed them, exemplifying exceptional customer service. The restaurant's ambiance elevated our dining experience, providing a cozy and inviting atmosphere. Embracing the hotel's dedication to culinary innovation, we savored a delightful array of dishes that showcased local flavors with a modern twist. As a landscape photographer who appreciates the beauty of diverse cultures, I couldn't help but draw parallels between the hotel's culinary creativity and the vibrant Asian culture found along Alexandra Road. Each dish we tried was a culinary journey, reminiscent of the unique knick-knacks and diverse performances at the Richmond Night Market.
